Built for one job, so it takes seconds
In a regular editor, a speed ramp takes a lot of clicking, and the crop doesn’t always follow it. In SlowRamp they’re built to work together, so the rider stays in frame from takeoff to landing.
Ramps in a few drags
Add a point before the takeoff and another after the landing. Drag them, and they snap to common speeds.
Video and audio ramps
Your edges on the snow and the landing slow, drop in pitch and speed back up with the video.
Crop that stays on the action
Center keyframes keep the rider in a vertical frame, even through a speed ramp.
Speed ramps for video and audio
Ride in at full speed, slow down for the spin, and return to full speed on the landing. Adjust the curve to get the timing you want.
Super slow motion
SlowRamp finds every part of your curve that’s too slow to look smooth and fills in new frames there automatically. Render them all with one button.
Smooth by default
Points snap to common speeds and the Smooth slider shapes the ramps, so a natural-looking transition takes seconds.
Vertical crop that follows your subject
Turn a landscape follow-cam or tripod shot into a vertical edit without leaving the rider at the edge of the frame. Place center keyframes to move the crop with them down the run.
Drag the crop into position at different points in the clip. SlowRamp moves it between your keyframes, with adjustable smoothing for gradual pans.
Punch in on the moment
Zoom in on the grab and back out, timed to your speed ramp. Zooms stay on the action when you change the curve.

Check system requirementsFrequently asked questions
What frame rate should I film at?
Any frame rate works. Filming at 60 or 120 fps gives SlowRamp more real frames to slow down. Where your curve goes slower than that, a supported Apple silicon Mac fills in new frames.
How does SlowRamp fit into my editing workflow?
Open the clip you want to work on, adjust its speed and framing, then export a video for Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut or any other editor. SlowRamp is a standalone Mac app, so there is no plugin to install.
Will it work on my Mac?
SlowRamp runs on Intel and Apple silicon Macs with macOS 14 or later. Speed ramps, audio curves, and centering work with your original frames on either. Super slow motion with Optical Flow requires a supported Apple silicon Mac running macOS 15.4 or later.
What happens to my original footage?
Your original video stays unchanged. SlowRamp saves your edits as a project and exports the result as a separate video. Processing happens on your Mac, without uploading your footage.
Can I try it before buying?
Yes. Download SlowRamp free and use every feature. Exports are watermarked and limited to 1080p until you buy a licence. If you buy it and it’s not for you, email support@slowramp.app within 30 days for a full refund.
How do I get updates?
SlowRamp checks for new versions and installs them from inside the app. Updates are free for your licence, and you can check at any time from the SlowRamp menu.
