Changelog

Every SlowRamp release, newest first. Updates arrive inside the app; choose Check for Updates… from the SlowRamp menu to look right away.

v0.2.0

In-app updates and a roomier editor

New

  • In-app updates. SlowRamp now checks for new versions and installs them in place. Use SlowRamp → Check for Updates… at any time.
  • Zoom and pan the timeline with a pinch or ⌥-scroll over the curve, scroll sideways to pan, and drag the playhead past either edge to keep panning while zoomed.
  • A focused speed axis. The graph shows 0.1x to 4x by default, where nearly every edit lives. Drag a point against the top or bottom edge to reveal 10x or 1%; the axis eases back when the point returns.

Improved

  • More room for your footage: the preview’s compare, magnify and full-screen controls moved into the window toolbar, the status bar below the curve is gone, and the zoomed-range overview only appears while zoomed.
  • The inspector tabs are now Speed, Framing and Clip, matching the curve editor.
  • Export sits at the right of the curve header next to the zoom controls, and responds to ⌘E. Loop joined the playback controls.
  • Render while idle now fills the whole marked range chunk by chunk instead of re-rendering around the playhead and losing earlier work.
  • Rendering a range that overlaps an existing rendered preview keeps the parts outside it.
  • A refreshed licence screen and licence settings pane.

Fixed

  • Long project names no longer clip in the window title.

  • Saved projects and local processing. Exports are separate files; your original footage stays unchanged.
