SlowRamp 0.2.2
New
- Optical Flow now takes care of itself. Every part of your curve that is too slow for the original frames to look smooth is marked in purple automatically, and the marks follow your edits. If new frames warp or smear somewhere, switch that range off in the Speed inspector to keep the original frames there.
- Render all ranges. One button renders a preview of every purple range, so you can play back the whole clip with its new frames.
- Choose what counts as smooth motion in SlowRamp → Settings → General. The default is now 30 fps (previously 25). The dashed line in the curve editor follows this setting.
Improved
- Play and pause respond instantly again, even when you press Space in quick succession. Preview audio now matches your export exactly.
- Projects are saved in SlowRamp’s own folder on your Mac instead of next to your videos. Existing projects move over automatically, and the small .speedcurve files SlowRamp left beside your clips are cleaned up as you reopen them. Use Save Project… when you want a copy to take elsewhere.
Good to know
- Projects with ranges you drew by hand open with automatic ranges. Anything you had not marked starts switched off, so nothing changes in your export until you switch it on.
